| We are a small friendly farm located about 30 miles north of Denver that specializes in training, sales, and show preparation of hunters, jumpers and eventers. Jen Duffy is the owner and trainer. Jen grew up in Virginia where she worked her way through the Pony Club ranks. During college she worked for a small A circuit show barn that showed from Florida to New York. In 1995 Jen moved to Colorado and initially kept her amateur status and showed has a hobby. In 2000 Jen bought her own property and decided to start a facility specializing in the sales, training and show preparation of hunter-jumpers and eventers. Although consignment horses are taken, Jen usually purchases off-the-track TB's and trains them for a new career. Our facility is east of Longmont, close to Firestone. Jen shows locally on the CHJA circuit as well as regionally on the "A" circuit. Jen has ridden and trained with Eric Horgan since 1996. She also has ridden with James Lala, Shelly Lambert, Diego Ormadillo, Nick Novack, Bruce Davidson, Nicole and Will Simpson, Todd Minikus and Jay Duke. Jen takes the philosophy that you never know it all and the minute you think you do there is a horse to prove you wrong. Therefore she actively clinics as much as possible and brings that knowledge back to her horses and riders. |
